Explore Human Biology Virtually with Dr. Beth Bennett

Interested in studying the sciences while preparing for a career in medicine, research, or another health profession?
Join Dr. Beth Bennett, Human Biology Program Coordinator, for a 30-minute virtual introduction to Sattler College’s Human Biology program. Dr. Bennett will introduce you to the major and its rigorous foundation in the biological sciences, including areas such as genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, immunology, and pathophysiology. The program is designed to prepare students for paths including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physician assistant studies, occupational and physical therapy, nursing, and biomedical research.
You’ll also hear directly from a current Sattler Human Biology student about their experience in the program and have an opportunity to ask questions. A member of the Admissions team will be available to answer questions about applying to Sattler and taking your next steps.
About Dr. Beth Bennett
Dr. Beth Bennett serves as Assistant Professor of Biology and Biology Program Coordinator at Sattler College. She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Shippensburg University and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where her research focused on mRNA stability and RNA-protein interactions. She later completed postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University and Harvard Medical School.
