Join Dr. Jesse Scheumann, Biblical & Religious Studies Program Coordinator, for a 30-minute virtual introduction to Sattler College’s Biblical & Religious Studies program. Dr. Scheumann will introduce you to a major centered on biblical languages, biblical interpretation, theology, and preparation for Christian ministry and service. Students can pursue focused study in exegesis or ministry while developing the tools to study Scripture carefully and communicate biblical truth faithfully. 

You’ll also hear directly from a current Biblical & Religious Studies student about their experience in the program and have an opportunity to ask questions. A member of the Admissions team will be available to answer questions about applying to Sattler and taking your next steps.

About Dr. Jesse Scheumann

Dr. Jesse Scheumann serves as Associate Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies and BRS Program Coordinator at Sattler College. He earned his Ph.D. with a specialization in Hebrew from the University of the Free State in South Africa, an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Minnesota, and M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Bethlehem College and Seminary. His academic interests include Hebrew and Greek, linguistics, language acquisition, exegesis, and biblical theology. He also co-founded Picture Hebrew, a resource designed to help students learn biblical Hebrew.
