Explore Computer Science Virtually with Dr. Derrick Tate
Description
What does it look like to study computer science in a distinctly Christian academic community?
Join Dr. Derrick Tate, Computer Science Program Coordinator, for a 30-minute virtual introduction to Sattler College’s Computer Science program. Dr. Tate will introduce you to the major and how students develop a strong foundation in areas such as programming, algorithms, software engineering, computer systems, artificial intelligence, and other areas of computer science. The program also challenges students to think carefully about the ethical, social, and human implications of the technologies they create.
You’ll also hear directly from a current Sattler Computer Science student about their experience in the program and have an opportunity to ask questions. A member of the Admissions team will be available to answer questions about applying to Sattler and taking your next steps.
